Great friends, great weekend!

 

We drove out to visit some good friends of ours this past weekend! It is always such a great visit when we get together! 5 crazy kids and lots of laughs!!! We got there friday night at around midnight so there really wasn't much visiting going on that night and K was starting to get sick, but the kids had their fill of eachother on Saturday! B & J has lots of fun playing together....and there were a few mishaps & lets say arguments, lol, between a 3 year old & a 4 year old, who's mom & dad call Tonka! LOL J's a tough chick! A is a great momma to her boys, she is such a strong woman and has the most patience I have ever seen!!! R & J have grown so much since May, R is walking now and lets just say...he is really into EVERYTHING!! Especially when "someone" leaves the bathroom door open....man, I had to run & get my camera when I walked by the bathroom...and A ran in there and immediately started running the tub, LOL!! We had a good laugh!
Driving home was great! The colour in the leaves & fields were absolutely amazing...its such a difference between provinces...

A break in the clouds...

Yesterday was such a wonderful break in K's normally upset days...He was soooo happy, talking & smiling, I even got a few giggles out of him! Its days like these that make every other one seem to dissapear. J even took a nap this afternoon! Yipee!

J' special day!

Good Morning! Today was a special day for my girl! She was the helper for the day at preschool. She got to bring something in for show and tell and we got the glorious job of providing the snack for all the kids! Last night J and I made pudding, chocolate & vanilla and then made cool snails out of jello & marshmallow, they turned out really cute and every one loved them....i only ended up throwing 2 snails out, out of 12 and 1 pudding bowl didn't get eaten.....can you guys who's??? LOL

Isn't my girl getting so big!! This was her second day of playschool and she got all dressed up for her class pictures! When I picked her up after school I said, "so J, how was pictures? Did you smile?" she replied to me with " good mom...but I didn't get to hang in the tree, my dress might get ripped.." LOL....

Our everyday life!

As a past Facebook user, I used to love how in one little site, you could get a glimpse into every ones lives, well, the friends on your friends list anyways LOL! But in reviewing certain aspects on FB, and how much information is shared and who can go thru your stuff, and yes, I know there is privacy setting and so on, but without actually blocking people from there, basically your info is there for anyone who wants to see it. And its not to say that I won't return to FB, but as my hubby sees it...and I completely agree, that if friends and family really do care about whats going on, drop us a line now and then lets get together for a visit! So we have decided to be bloggers, lol! I used to use this blog for scrapbooking purposes only, but will now do a revamp and add all sorts of little tidbits on our everyday life! Ok. Now to get the kids down for their naps, so I can do the revamp!
