ah the weekend!

Well this weekend was full of sleep, soup, lots of cuddles, building forts, celebrating a birthday and fixing our taps! Lets hope for a wonderful week ahead!

Mid January Already!

So this week we delved into daycare! Our regular sitter had the flu and got ahold of us last minute, so we decided to have our intro to day care on Tuesday! The kids LOVED it!!! Keegs had a great time in the toddler room playing with the other toddlers LOL, and Jade was in her glory~ play centers, crafts, dress up clothes and gym time! She loved meeting new friends and cried when we came to pick her up! They also went today...Jade even napped like a good girl...Keegs however skipped his afternoon nap! Oh well, they will soon fall into a routine!
 This past weekend we went to the city with the Leiths and the Starostas LOL! FUN FACTORY!!!

Decisions...

Life is just full of decisions isn't it? Some harder to make than others, but in the end we ultimately choose what is best for ourselves. ...Thats all the pondering I am going to do tonight...LOL

This week went by fast thank goodness, it has been full of ups and downs! Friday is upon us and then the weekend! Jade has a birthday party to go to on Saturday and hopefully it will be warm enough to go sledding again on Sunday!

This years resolutions...

Thought I would ask every one in our family what this years resolutions would be, had to explain first to jade that this was something you worked on all year long to better yourself...These are the answers that I got...

me: start an excersise program, even if its just walking every night!

      try to call my siblings more often, keep in touch

      "don't sweat the small things"

Niall: take better care of himself

         work out more

         more patience!!

Jade: well umm (patting her lip)...first I want to be a pretty princess, and play with my friends everyday..
Mom: Jadie, thats not really a resolution, You already are a pretty princess and you do play with your friends every day, how about trying to listen to mom and dad? Or remembering your manners? or being nice to your brother?
Jade: well, I guess so (BIG SIGH) but I reeeaally wanted to be a princess

hahaha!

Mom: How bout you Keegy? You gonna be a good boy this year?
Keegan: "yeah!!...(proceeding to run to the stairs)...bang, bang momma!
